EMF: Cell Tower Revenue breakdown

You may be wondering how much Revenue Share is in the Cell Tower implementations for the Schools and where does the money go?

I wasn't able to find as much detailed info for Loudoun county but for Fairfax County, it seems the initial SPLIT is:

60% Tower Manager & 40% to FCPS

There is a one time fee and recurring fee and I am not 100% if this breakdown is for both or just one. The % also can change, as I was told, it really depends on the negotiations. As you probably saw from my other posts, some schools have 2-3 cell towers instead of just 1 so I am sure the breakdown is a bit different but for the calculation purposes, let's just assume these numbers.

From the 40% FCPS gets: The breakdown between the actual school revenue vs FCPS goes something like this 85% FCPS which goes to fund emergency preparation technology projects and administrative technology devices and 15% goes to the actual school.

85% FCPS & 15% to Actual School

According to FCPS:

"The hosting school receives a one-time fee for the initial monopole and cell service provider installation. Subsequent cell service providers co-locating to the monopole also pay a one-time site access fee to the school.
FCPS receives recurring monthly rents from the cell service providers.  The rents are escalated annually per the terms of the respective lease agreement. On existing cell service provider leases, 40% of the rent is retained by FCPS and 60% is retained by the private-sector telecommunications company who owns and maintains the monopole and, manages the cell service provider leases.  On cell service provider leases executed after 2012, 45% is retained by FCPS and 55% is retained by the private-sector telecommunications company.
The hosting school receives 15% of the FCPS income. The remaining 85% is used by the school system to fund emergency preparation technology for the Office of Safety and SecurityDepartment of Information Technology projects and administrative technology devices.
