How My EMF Journey Started

My journey with EMF Assessments and Mitigation and Geovital started with our battle with Cell Tower proposal on our schools Elementary school here in Fairfax County VA. Crossfield Elementary school board was presented with an offer to install a cell tower on the premises. Knowing what little I did know (or thought I knew) at that time, my husband and I both joined the group of parents fighting to keep cell towers out of Schools – at least out of our elementary school at that time. We attended various meetings during which you heard both ( or ALL) sides. As emotional parents who are concerned about high levels of EMF’s tried to make their points and concerns heard, the school board kept asking for Proof and inevitably, like the other schools in Fairfax county, the decisions are left to the board to make. Of course, the telecom industry has no shortage of research and studies they have sponsored. In helping with the research, I realized we needed more “Visual” and “Effective” ways to SHOW the board and others. Medical research didn’t seem to prove the actual impact of the cell towers around “Here”. How can we prove that these are the waves, levels that will actually hurt our kids when there is no “Conclusive” proof? How can we show the actual impact on the kids. This meant, not just measuring the EMFs (because everyone’s measurements were different because we were all using different tools and not really understanding what we were trying to do) but the impact it has on the bodies of our children. Everything happens for a reason! Seek and you shall receive. When the student is ready, teacher will show.

We are now faced with choices. Crossfield Elementary School does not have a cell tower – YET. I say yet because the telecom company keeps bringing different proposals and seeing that 20+ schools have already lost that battle with the county, I fear the battle will be lost soon – unless we can demonstrate some concerns as parents. This would mean, getting parents to be more vocal and share about the health status of their children. It would mean providing more data and ammunition for correlation of issues. And all this will take time. But it is a start!

How I Discovered Geovital

So in my quest to find out HOW we can find better instruments and how we can actually measure the impact on the bodies, I came across Geovital. My husband and I talked about the investment we would have to make- which was a no brainer for us. I enrolled soon after. This is something not just for our kids school battle but also one that can help our family, friends and community.

Right now, “Smart Meters” are being rolled out in Fairfax County. If you want to opt-out, you will need to pay extra per month. As a real estate agent, we have had clients who purchased condos and homes, who shortly after called and said they are sick and need to sell. Their health rapidly declined soon after they moved in.

We now have a lot of EHS – Electro-Magnetic Sensitive clients who are looking for homes they can live in. The services I can offer would benefit these clients as well as those clients who have health concerns or desire to have an assessment of a home before they move in.

As a parent, I am very concerned over “Extended  hours  of EMF “ exposure and 5G coming soon! As I started to learn about EMF and fully understand the details of it, I realized how little I knew and what I thought I knew was actually wrong!

Our philosophy has always been Educate, Inform and Empower our clients. This has been the case with real estate and it is the case with Health assessments with my Complementary and Functional Medicine services. The first step is to become Aware of the situation and take ownership of it. You need to learn what you are doing (Intake) to see how it is impacting you. We all battle with challenges in our lives. Our health is one where we need to balance on regular basis due to so many different factors that can push us into imbalance and diseases.
