How Pulse Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy Improves Eye Health and Vision Problems

EMF and PEMF - The difference between harmful EMFs and Therapeutic EMFs

Magnetic Frequencies help to regulate several processes of the human body. In fact, our bodies produce their own magnetic field. However, when artificial and harmful EMFs enter our body, such as those from cell phone towers, power lines or blue light from your mobile phones they disrupt the way our body naturally works, creating an imbalance. This cause changes to our body natural functions from stress levels to our sleep cycles to our DNA. The imbalance can easily negatively affected by EMF changes in the environment and imbalance body is more susceptible to diseases.

Alternatively, one of the good magnetic field (PEMF) contributes to the healing and improvement of both humans and animals.

What is PEMF?

PEMF is a technology that has been used internationally to help reverse those imbalances caused by harmful EMFs by delivering beneficial frequency to our body.

It accomplishes by sending a Pulse Electromagnetic Field that stimulate and energize the cells within your body. Our body take this energy and then use it for natural self-healing functions.

Beyond the effects of these EMF on our body, the differentiating factor or what actually makes one frequency harmful and the other beneficial to health are the ; exposure time,  the wavelength and frequency

The Electromagnetic Spectrum :

  • Harmful EMFs have been recognize in various research studies to have significantly higher frequency and lower wavelengths.
  • Harmful EMFs are in the range of 100,000 Hertz
  • See here the Harmful EMF Sources

PEMF devices use low frequency and long wavelengths ranging from 1 to 10,000 Hertz and do not produce any heating actions.

Research has shown that EMF in low frequency and intensity can result in increase of oxygenation to the blood, improves the body circulation and enhance cell metabolism.

The goal of PEMF System is to produce a magnetic field that will not only susceptible to the body natural function but also use wavelengths that will go away through the body.

Light and Eye Damage: What specific portions of the environment EMF spectrum cause eye damage?

In our "natural" environment with natural and man-made lights, the most offending positions of the EM spectrum are the UV-A (315 nm to 400 nm), UV-B (280 nm to 315 nm) and "blue-light" portion of the visible spectrum (380nm to 500nm).

Our outmospehre generally protect us from UV radiation below 280nm.

These EMFs Impacts on Eyesight and Vision : Research and Studies

  • As our Eye cornea and crystalline lens absorb  almost all natural UV radiation, UV radiation is thought to cause damage to anterior eye.
  • Short visible light (blue-light) can cause damage to retinal structures, the damaging processes care thought to be at least photochemical in nature, the damaging effects can be cumulative in nature.
  • There is evidence that UV-B radiation causes cortical cataracts.
  • Blue Light damage to the retina has search supports from studies both acute and chronic expose. Ham et AL (Nature 1976; 260:153-5 (Retina was most sensitive to light at the shorter wavelength at max sensitivity of 441nm and that retinal damage at the shorter visible wavelengths  upto 500 nm was primarily photochemical in nature.
  • Viewing Solar Eclipse without proper protection can cause retinal damage.
  • Exposure to sunlight to retinal changes seen in age related macula degeneration.
  • Beaver Pam Eye Study : Signs of Amp were correlated with excessive exposure to sunlight (>5 hours per day)
  • Chesapeake Bay Watermen Study : late ARMD correlated to cumulative sunlight exposure (Taylor et AL. ARCH ophtalmol 1992;110:99-100)
  • Shorter wavelength of the visible spectrum (ie blue light 400-480nm) show the greatest effects possibility due to photochemical or photoxidative damage in the retinal pigment epithelium.
  • Porcine Retinal Pigment Epithelial cells were exposed to visible light between 380 and 520 nm. Loss of cell viability was correlated with exposure with maximal wavelength between 415 to 455nm.
  • Beaver Dam Study : Person s who reported more than 55 hours a day of summer sun exposure in their teens, in their 30s and at the baseline had a high risks of developing retinal change indicative of early age maculophtay than those expose 2 hours a day.
  • High outdoor exposure using hat or sunglasses decrease the risk of early Arm change by nearly 50 %.

Is there a natural way to face these vision challenges?

Science has shown us there are 2 natural ways we may be able to treat these vision problems; regular eye check-up and PEMF Therapy.

PEMF Improves Eyesight and Vision

While PEMF Therapy is not a cure, it is worth trying to avoid invasive procedure on eye diseases.

PEMF help to support healing damage on inflame tissues, muscles, reduces pains, swelling, inflammation, increases circulation' and circular levels of oxygen aids in supporting general muscle and nervous system health and functions and stimulate body natural healing process.

What is PEMF Therapy?

PEMF Therapy  re-energize damage cells by performing electrical change within the cells that restores it to its normal healthy state.

How PEMF  Therapy can help your eyes?

The eye is extraordinarily sensitive to PEMF. It is composed of fibrous connective tissue, thin epithel cells, blood supply and nerve type cells. Because of the arrangement of the tissue of the eye, they are responsive to PEMF stimulation.

Considering the fact that eye tissue usually heal rapidly.

PEMF Therapy can enhance that healing.

PEMF and Eye Conditions

  • Cataract
  • Glaucoma
  • Myopia
  • Here are Studies Reporting Positive Effects of PEMF Therapy in the Treatment of Eye Diseases and Vision Problems:

Observations over 150 patients (283 eyes) with latent, initial and advanced glaucoma have shown a positive influence of PEMF on hemodynamics of a glaucomatous eye: a rise of rheographic coefficient and relative volume pulse in 87,99 and 81,63%, respectively. The degree of the rise and restoration frequency of rheographic values of the glaucomatous eye under the influence of PEMF to the age norm was more expressed at initial stages of the glaucomatous process (latent and initial glaucoma).

Observations over 150 patients (283 eyes) with latent, initial and advanced glaucoma have shown that the usage of pulse electromagnetic field exerts influence on the hydrodynamics of the eye in open-angle glaucoma; stimulates the rise of aqueous outflow and production, the reduction of the Becker's coefficient. At the latent stage of the disease, normalization of outflow was recorded in 25% of cases, at the initial and advanced stages--in 17.8% and 16.0% of cases, respectively. The investigations carried out allow to recommend the mentioned method for a complex treatment of open-angle glaucoma.

    Hello Ayda
I had an op on my eye and the the light used
damaged the light cells at the back of my eye.
The question—- can pemf restore the cells
to normal. Thank you. John Bell
